WorkScapes at Newport Beach Welcomes Schiefer Media in 2,504 Square Feet Suite at 20361 Irvine Ave
NEWPORT BEACH, CA (Aug 3)—WorkScapes at Newport Beach welcomes its newest creative tenant—Schiefer Media, a media buying, marketing and advertising company—who is leasing 2,504 square feet at the contemporary, 84,831 square foot, six-building office park. The company will be occupying a suite in the newly renovated Building B.
"This renovation typifies the creative office concept we're embracing at the park," said Michael Schlesinger, Vice President of Asset Management for Hackman Capital, the private real estate investment firm that formed and manages the property's joint venture ownership. The two-story building offers more than 11,000 square feet of loft-like "WorkScapes" with such features as open floor plans, exposed ceilings, polished concrete floors, suspended, galvanized-steel, architectural light fixtures, modern galley kitchens, contemporary bathrooms, brand new mechanicals, expansive golf-course views, abundant parking and more.
Hackman Capital's concept was to leverage the light industrial feel of the facility's original architecture and transform it into a creative environment for creative businesses. "Newport Beach was a landscape dominated by traditional office space," Schlesinger continued. "And it was time for a change. The market seemed ready for a more innovative alternative, and judging by the all the activity at the park, it seems we were right. The concept has caught on."
Schiefer Media, who was represented in lease negotiations by Garrett Ellis of CB Richard Ellis, joins Robert A. Coffee Architects & Associates in the newly renovated building B, leaving two suites still available there. Architects, graphic and interior designers, event planners, interactive media and production companies, along with other creative and entrepreneurial businesses, are occupying the park's other five buildings.
WorkScapes at Newport Beach is located on Irvine Avenue, adjacent to the Newport Beach Golf Club, about two miles west of the University of California Irvine, and provides convenient freeway access, good street visibility and close proximity to John Wayne Airport.
