Heather Somaini

Chief Administrative Officer

Heather Somaini has built a 20+ year career in organizational leadership and strategic planning before joining Hackman Capital. She was named Chief Administrative Officer at Hackman in December 2021, where she serves on the company’s Executive Management Committee and focuses on organizational development, executive management, strategic planning, and infrastructure with a people-centered reliance on communication, equity, collaboration, and growth.

Previously, Heather had a 19-year tenure at Lionsgate, a world-class motion picture and television studio that also owns the STARZ premium global subscription platform. She held a series of progressively responsible leadership positions at Lionsgate culminating in her appointment as Chief Administrative Officer. In that capacity, she oversaw the Company’s global corporate real estate portfolio across offices in Santa Monica, Denver, New York, Toronto, London, and Mumbai, concentrating on long-range planning and development of comprehensive workplace solutions.

Heather also served as the Company’s senior management liaison with its Board of Directors, oversaw a broad portfolio of staffing functions, and led Lionsgate’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic across its corporate offices, film and television production operations, and joint venture partnerships. She served on the studio’s Executive Management Committee senior decision-making team.

Heather earned her B.S. in Film and Television from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
