Laura serves as the Vice President of Investor Relations for Hackman Capital Partners. She brings to the company more than 10 years of experience in alternative investments, predominantly as an investor relations professional for real estate investment managers.
Previously, Laura served as the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Calmwater Capital, a national commercial real estate bridge lender. In that role, she was responsible for leading the firm’s investor relations and fundraising efforts, managing the existing investor base, as well as identifying and developing relationships with investors globally.
Before Calmwater Capital, Laura was a member of the investor relations team at DigitalBridge, formerly Colony Capital, a global digital infrastructure firm, where she was responsible for managing institutional investor due diligence efforts. At DigitalBridge, she helped raise over $4 billion for a global digital infrastructure fund and was the product specialist for the firm’s real estate opportunistic credit fund, which was focused on Western Europe assets.
Laura also worked as an investor relations associate at Arixa Capital Advisors, one of the West Coast’s premier private real estate lenders, and as an M&A Analyst at Harvey & Company, a leading buyside acquisition search and principal investment firm.
Laura graduated summa cum laude from the American University in Cairo with a Bachelors in Business, Finance.
