Tyler joined Hackman Capital Partners in 2019 and assists in the management of various corporate functions and advises the Chief Executive Officer and senior management on corporate strategy and other operational and investment-related initiatives.
Prior to joining the Firm, Tyler spent ten years as an attorney at the New York law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, where he had a broad-based financial services and risk management practice focused on regulatory, corporate governance, and reputational matters for investment firms, corporations and boards of directors. Tyler also spent time in government, including as a senior aide to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. In that role, Tyler managed New York state’s cybersecurity initiatives and oversaw operations and the multi-billion dollar budgets for numerous state agencies. Tyler graduated from the University of North Carolina and earned his law degree from Duke University. He is a member of the New York and California State Bars.
