Tristan is Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Real Estate Counsel for Hackman Capital Partners. In this role, Tristan oversees the firm’s compliance program as well as advises on the transactional real estate aspects of the company and its affiliated entities, including corporate, acquisition, disposition, joint venture, financing, development, leasing and diligence matters.
Prior to joining Hackman Capital, Tristan was a member of the Real Estate Practice Group at the international law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and represented private equity funds, REITs, lenders, developers and institutional investors in all areas of real estate, including, without limitation, the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, restructuring, leasing and management of vacant land, multifamily, retail, industrial, office, hospitality and other commercial properties.
Tristan received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.
