Vancouver Film Studios

Vancouver Film Studios is a first-call, full-service studio campus and an anchor of both the British Columbian and Canadian film and television industries.

Located just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 25 minutes from Vancouver International Airport, Vancouver Film Studios offers 13 purpose-built sound stages and an abundance of office and support space. Its two on-site subsidiaries, Pacific Backlot Services and Signal Systems, provide production equipment and communications services.

Vancouver Film Studios has been the location of more than 100 highly successful productions—including Deadpool, The Flash, Yellowjackets, and others—and has served as long-term home for such major global content creators as Disney, Warner Bros., 20th Century Studios, NBC Universal, Netflix, Apple and CBS.

The studio is also the first in the world to become B-Corporation Certified, being carbon neutral since 2008, launching the Indigenous Filmmakers Bursary in 2022, and many other notable community and environmental actions.

Vancouver is one of the world’s top filming destinations. Productions are attracted to the city for its favorable federal and local tax credits, which include credits for post-production, its proximity to Los Angeles, its beautiful landscape and scenery for on-location shoots and its deep talent pool and skilled crew base.
