David serves as Independent Advisor to Hackman Capital Partners and is a member of the company’s Executive Management Committee and Investment Committee. His career includes more than 50 years of real estate investment experience. He is co-founder of Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management (MREEM) in New York and founder of Metropolitan Real Estate Advisors (MREA) in San Francisco. The two firms invest equity in residential, commercial and industrial properties in the United States, Europe and Asia. In 2013, MREEM was sold to The Carlyle Group and, in 2015, MREA was sold to its senior partners.
David serves on the board of Sutter Health and chairs its Investment Committee. He holds B.S. and MBA degrees from The Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
