Managing Principal — Real Estate Operations

Brent started at Hackman Capital Partners in 2015 and oversees real estate operations and transactions for the company and its affiliated entities.  Brent manages and executes on the company’s acquisition, disposition, joint venture, financing, asset management and development investments.  He also advises and coordinates on the execution of the firm’s real estate investments and strategic objectives.  Brent is a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee, Investment Committee and serves as General Counsel where he directs all legal aspects of the Company’s corporate and investment dealings.

Prior to joining the company, Brent was a real estate transactional attorney with the national law firm Stroock LLP and represented various types of real estate funds, developers and institutional and non-institutional investors.  His clients were involved in owning and developing all commercial real estate product types and his legal work included acquisitions, sales, financings, partnership and joint venture agreements, leases, property, construction and development management agreements, distressed debt and equity investments, loan restructurings, workouts and enforcement.  Brent received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School.
