Reza joined Hackman Capital Partners (HCP) in 2021 as the Managing Principal of Real Estate Development leading the company’s planning, architecture, design, construction and development efforts across its global portfolio.
Reza has more than 40 years of experience in design, architecture, construction, and project management. Prior to joining the firm, Reza was founder and president of Create7, LLC, a project management and architecture/construction consulting firm in Los Angeles. Before that, Reza served as Senior Vice President of Caruso and previously spent more than 25 years as an executive at Taslimi Construction and over seven years practicing architecture and space planning.
Reza’s experience in commercial, hospitality and retail has included major hotels, commercial buildings and corporate offices, broadcast studios, museums, data centers, consulates, retail centers, and restaurants. Overall, Reza has been responsible for more than 30,000,000 square feet of design and construction.
Reza earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science, Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California and has been an associate member of the American Institute of Architects, as well as a member of the Americana Society of Civil Engineers. He has been honored by USC with the Whitney Alumni award and the Guild’s Service Award along with a collection of industry recognitions. He was previously president of the USC Architectural Guild (2012-2013) and has served on the USC Architecture Board of Councilors and Architectural Guild. He is also a member of the executive committee of the USC Trojans Athletic Board of Ambassadors.
