Alastair Boucaut joined Hackman Capital Partners in 2024 as Executive Vice President of Asset Management. With a decade of experience in real estate finance, asset management, and strategic development, Alastair now oversees the performance and management of Hackman Capital’s global Studio Platform.
Prior to joining Hackman Capital, Alastair served as Vice President of Asset Management at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), spearheading the creation and implementation of asset strategies across a national portfolio of malls. His work focused on designing mixed-use strategies to enhance flagship retail assets in a rapidly evolving market. Additionally, Alastair headed URW’s Regional Asset Management team, playing a pivotal role in the company’s deleveraging efforts.
Alastair’s career began in acquisitions and leasing with Melbourne-based RetPro, now part of Moelis Australia, followed by a position at Newmark Capital Limited.
Originally from Australia, Alastair earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Australia and later moved to the U.S., where he completed an MS in Real Estate at Columbia University.
