Lauren Baker joined Hackman Capital Partners (HCP) in 2024 as Senior Vice President of the Investor Relations team, where she oversees all investor communications and reporting.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was Senior Vice President at Bellwether Asset Management, where she led the investor relations department and drove strategic market, property type, investor, and competitor research initiatives. Her work primarily focused on Oaktree Capital real estate funds, supporting more than $20 billion in assets under management across both debt and equity strategies. Lauren also played a key role in launching five new funds, significantly contributing to Oaktree’s growth and investment offerings.
Earlier in her career, she worked at CoStar Group in the Analytics Division where she was dedicated to presenting, analyzing, forecasting, and consulting on various market trends. During her tenure at CoStar, she covered over 20 markets across the Southeast and the New York metro area. She has been quoted in Bloomberg, Globe St., National Real Estate Investor, Crain’s New York Business, Finance and Commerce, and many other media outlets for her work.
Lauren holds a B.S. in Finance, Marketing, and Management from the University of South Carolina.
