David Felman

Chief Financial Officer

David Felman is Chief Financial Officer of Hackman Capital Partners, where he leads the firm’s finance function. He has more than 20 years of experience across financial operations, corporate finance, capital markets, real estate, and private equity in both public and private companies. He is responsible for the firm’s financial strategy, capital markets, financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, and finance operations, and partners with the executive team on capital allocation, financing, investment execution, risk management, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Hackman Capital Partners, David served as Chief Financial Officer of Anderson Holdings (Topa Equities, Ltd.), a multi-billion-dollar investment platform founded by John E. Anderson with significant real estate ownership and investment activities. He also served as Managing Director, Corporate Finance at Peakstone Realty Trust (NYSE: PKST), where he led strategic finance initiatives through the company’s acquisition by Brookfield Asset Management.

Earlier in his career, David spent nearly 15 years in investment banking, advising on more than $100 billion of announced mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and other strategic transactions. He began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and UBS before serving in senior roles at Moelis & Company and Greif & Co. He also served on the investment team at Stanford Management Company, which manages Stanford University’s endowment.

David earned a BA with Distinction and Honors from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he was a Carter Fellow. He serves on the boards of Jewish Family Service LA, Temple Isaiah, and the Friars Charitable Foundation.
