Tristan joined Hackman Capital Partners (HCP) in 2021 and serves as the Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, Tristan advises on all legal matters associated with the firm’s investment and asset management activities, as well as implementation of the firm’s compliance program.
Prior to joining HCP, Tristan was a member of the Real Estate Practice Group at the international law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and represented private equity funds, REITs, lenders, developers and institutional investors in all areas of real estate, including, the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, restructuring, leasing and management of vacant land, multifamily, retail, industrial, office, hospitality and other commercial properties.
Tristan received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.
